Downtown Island Airport (DKX) is a fixed based operator (FBO) that is owned and operated by the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority (MKAA). The airport is located 3 miles from downtown Knoxville and the UT campus. The FBO is open for operation from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. daily.
As an NATA Professional Line Service Certified-Shell Branded FBO, DKX offers Full Service fueling of 100ll and JetA as well as a 24-hr Self Service 100ll fueling station.
